Week of March 1-7

A project account has been created on Google Code in order to manage the source code, papers and documents and other resources of project. Its home page is accessible from Grid Torrent.

1. The first draft of literature survey report in doc format has been finished and posted on Grid Torrent at Google Code. Its reference list, in Endnote format, also can be downloaded from this link.
2. I have started working on security module of Grid Torrent. Now, I am reading some documents about web-service security and Shibboleth.

Week of February 1-7

I could not post what I have been doing last week owing to blogger's "upgrade problem". When it was broken, I saw some comments on my postings, however, I was unable to read them till the problem got fixed. I'm not sure whether they are old, or recent comments, inasmuch as the comments have only hour and minute information for their postings.

I have focused on finishing the report last week, it will be finished by Monday.

Week of January 18-24

I am still writing a draft report about literature survey. I was expecting to finish it by Monday, but could not finish it yet.
I am performing tests to compare the performance of parallel TCP and Grid torrent using a heavy loaded servers.

Week of January 11-17

I finished the detailed literature survey on peer to peer, Grid and Bittorrent. I have started writing a draft report about it. I try to finish it by Monday.
Also I set the test environment in order to compare the performance of parallel TCP and Grid torrent using a heavy loaded servers, and I am planning to complete those tests in 4-6 days.

Week of December 7-13

After the literature survey, I worked on the second part power point presentation about what might be the good research issues related to GridTorrent, and what requirements/modifications are needed in Bittorrent architecture to provide a peer to peer file sharing protocol. I almost finished it but have to revise it for correcting errors and making it consistent. I'll post it Thursday evening as soon as I finish it.

Week of November 23-29

I did the literature survey of my research area including GridFTPXIO, GridFTP, gLite, RLS.
